For the first time since the launch of the iPhone 5 it is now possible to purchase certified lightning cables from second hand sources, including Amazon and Monoprice. Monoprice is backordered until the end of March already, and Amazon currently has their exclusive cable in stock for $14.99. The normal pricing from Apple is $19.99, and although you can find aftermarket cables for less, these are the first Apple certified cables to come to market reducing concerns about quality and compatibility.

The newest version of Apple TV is on sale at Newegg for $89 with coupon EMCXVWV82. These rarely go on sale, and the lowest price we have ever seen for a new one is $85. If you want the benefits of a jailbroken Apple TV, including the ability to watch movies from Plex or Amazon Prime, do not buy this unit. In fact we recommend buying a Roku unless you already have a number of Apple products and want to use Airplay. Or you could buy the older Apple TV used on Amazon for over $200 (sarcasm).

Normally selling around $350, these Bose Quiet Comfort 3 headphones are an excellent deal at $279. Bose does not allow the discounting of their products so seeing these prices is rare. These headphones are perfect for the heavy travelers. You can read the 4+ Star reviews on Amazon here. If you don’t need the noise canceling features there are better headphones out there for less, but if you are on a plane a lot you won’t regret getting these.

Adorama has the very well reviewed Sigma 30mm f/1.4 lens on sale right now for $288. Amazon currently sells the 4 star reviewed lens for $369 right now. Adorama has them for Canon, Nikon, Sony and Pentax.

Best Buy has a sale on the well reviewed Harman Kardon AVR 1700 500W home receiver. This receiver normally sells for $299, but has been reduced 33% to $199 at Best Buy right now. The one thing you will sacrifice with this receiver is that it is only 5.1 instead of 7.1 or 7.2. If that isn’t an issue, then buy away.

A handful of online retailers have reduced the price of the newest Mac Mini i5 to $549. This is about $50 below retail and $39 below Amazon’s price for the same computer. Depending on where you live if you want to avoid sale’s tax try one of these three retailers. Mac Connection and Micro Center have it for the same price of $549, and if you are getting stuck with taxes at both of these vendors you can try BH Photo for $564.

On sale now is Dell’s 27″ premium high resolution monitor, model U2711, for $649. This monitor has solid reviews, and is selling at Amazon for $767 which is the next best price. One thing to note is that you may have a problem connecting this to any Apple computer as it only connects by HDMI or DVI-D.

Jawbone’s popular bluetooth speaker, the Jambox, is currently on sale at All4Cellular. The units being sold are refurbished. With coupon A4C20 you receive an extra 20% off bringing the price down to $80. These units retail for $200, so taking a chance on the refurbished unit makes sense at this price point. These don’t make a very good home entertainment system, but are fantastic for having a portable speaker when on the road.

Normally this lens is priced closer to $1500, and this actually beats the recent prices on Canon’s refurbished lenses. At $1099 from Adorama, the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS is an exceptional value. This is a very well reviewed telephoto zoom lens for professionals.
